ZukoBid is operated by Zuko Group LLC(“ZukoBid,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use zukobid.com, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@zukobid.com.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account and show you the right contracts — no more.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show you ads.
- Contract data on ZukoBid comes from public government sources.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address and a password.
- Your preferences: the industries, codes, keywords, states, value range and email settings you choose, used to rank contracts for you.
- Your work in the product: contracts you save to your Bid List, supplier quotes you log, and supplier emails you paste in to be read into a quote.
- Messages to us: anything you send to support.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we receive only a customer reference, your plan, and whether payment succeeded.
Information collected automatically
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Settings saved in your browser, such as your preferred bid margin, which never leave your device.
- Basic server logs (time of request, pages and features used, errors) kept to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service: rank contracts against your preferences, build bid sheets, and send the emails you opt into.
- To bill your subscription and manage your account.
- To keep ZukoBid secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve the product, using aggregated information about how features are used.
AI processing
Some features use AI models from Anthropicto read public solicitation documents, summarize contracts, find suppliers, and read supplier emails you paste into a quote. When you use those features, the relevant text is sent to Anthropic to produce the result. Anthropic processes it under its commercial terms, which do not permit using it to train its models. Don’t paste anything into ZukoBid you are not permitted to share with a service provider.
Who helps us run ZukoBid
We share information only with the companies that process it on our behalf, and only what each needs:
- Vercel — hosting.
- Upstash — database storage.
- Stripe — payments.
- Resend — sending account and alert emails, and receiving bid notices.
- Anthropic — the AI processing described above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
Public data
Contracts, awards, prices and vendor names shown on ZukoBid come from public records published by federal, state and local agencies (for example SAM.gov, USAspending.gov and state transportation departments). Business names appearing in that data are part of the public record and not personal information we collected from you.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, or short-lived backups that expire on their own schedule.
Your choices and rights
- Update your preferences at any time under Preferences in the portal.
- Stop emails by turning them off in Preferences, or by asking us.
- Access, correct or delete your data by emailing support@zukobid.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights to know, delete or correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We honor those requests through the same email. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context advertising.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Children
ZukoBid is a business tool for adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you by email or in the product before they take effect.
