Full days in construction
I work in heavy civil construction. The days are long, and they don't leave much left over.
Government contracting started as a side hustle: something I worked on at night and on weekends, in whatever time was left.
ZukoBid started as a side hustle. After a full day in heavy civil construction, I had an hour or two at night to find government work worth bidding, and most of it went to digging. So I built a tool to do the digging for me.
I'm Shawn Casey. I work in heavy civil construction, and I run a government contracting company on the side. ZukoBid is the tool I needed and couldn't find: one that does the hours of digging, so the time I have goes into bidding.

I started Zuko Group LLC to bid on government supply work. After work, I'd sit down with an hour or two to find something worth bidding.
Most of that time went to digging: scrolling through thousands of listings, opening PDFs, trying to work out what each one actually was, what the government paid last time, and who else would bid. By the time I found one worth going after, the night was gone.
ZukoBid started as a way to get those hours back. It reads every listing for me and says, in plain English, what the work is, what it pays, who usually wins it, and what to bid.
It finds the bids I can win, preps them from the RFQ, and tells me who won afterward. What used to take a whole night now takes minutes.
When you only have an hour, you can't afford bad information. Early on, some of the numbers compared similar items: what the government paid for a part like this one. I pushed back. A price for a similar part tells you almost nothing about the one you're bidding.
So ZukoBid shows what the government paid for the exact part, how many companies bid on it, and who supplied it. If the records don't hold it, we don't show it.
ZukoBid is for people like me: running a business on limited time, without a bid team. Every feature has to answer one question: does it save you time, or help you win?
